Under File - Options - Save & Backup: Are these pointing to the location where the files are saved?įile - Open - either on OneDrive or on your computer, can you open all your notebooks? Is all the information there you expect?Īre you missing the "Unfiled Notes" page or the notebook that contains it? Is this where the files are visible in 2010? Is nothing there in 2013?Ĭheck the "Quick Notes" section at the bottom of the notebook column to see if it's being saved there (this happens on my mobile device a lot). In 2013, under File - Account - are you logged in to the correct account? (I don't know if this would matter, but it's worth checking as it might think you don't have permission to the files.) I do know having both should work, as I have both 20 installed at work with no issues. But if removing it fixes your issue than just ignore all this. Some of these you have probably already checked.
So, I'll just list some things that I would consider checking to resolve the issue. My concern is that it won't fix your issue though because for some reason 2013 isn't seeing your files. You can do this again to reinstall it if you need to. Select "Not Available" for OneNote and that should remove it. Click Next, and you have the options to customize what programs exist. Right click on "Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010" and select "Change". Go into Control Panel - Programs - Programs and Features. You can do this without uninstalling the entire office suite. But that wouldn't make sense if 2013 is set to the defaults.Īnyway, the most blatant option is to remove OneNote 2010. My thought is the most likely cause would be that 2010 is setup to save somewhere other than OneDrive, but 2013 is forced to save in OneDrive since that's a free restriction.
They should be saved on OneDrive and both 20 should read the files saved there.
